What We Do
Academic Risk Management (ARM) brings together underwriting services,
insurance carriers, preferred provider networks, and claims administration
in order to offer academic institutions a customized and flexible student
accident and health insurance plan.
Our in-house underwriters represent several reputable student health insurance
companies. ARM partners with these companies in order to provide
comprehensive products and benefits, sound financial standards and excellent
client service. All companies represented are AM Best rated at A- or better.
ARM has the ability to negotiate agreements with national preferred
provider organizations (PPO) in order to provide extensive services for
the lowest possible cost to our students and universities. ARM utilizes
only the best to manage benefits administration. ARM's benefits administrators,
were the first to implement comprehensive, customized benefits online. Students
and administrators can access claims status, eligibility, explanation of benefits
and many other features directly from their website.
Academic Risk Management's strengths lie in excellent underwriting, flexibility,
and impeccable client service. Students and administrators will always speak with
a "live" voice never a computer generated voice.
