Academic Risk Management provides insurance coverage for over 10,000 international
students. Our programs are flexible and designed to provide blanket insurance coverage for
all students, faculty, scholars and their dependents. Those who are engaged in full-time
international educational or research activities outside their home country or country of
regular domicile as a nonresident alien, who are here in the United States on a Visa issued
for scholarly purposes and who have not applied for permanent residency are eligible to participate.
In addition to the benefits listed above, our products incorporate a unique Emergency Reunion
Benefit. This benefit provides travel expenses for a family member to be by the insured's side
if that person is to be hospitalized for more than seven days.
In the unlikely event an individual would need to utilize the medical evacuation or
repatriation benefit, ARM combined with On-Call International will provide 24-hour
worldwide assistance services for an emergency anywhere in the world. Assistance
services include:
